CH 2- The Excavation site

Today too they stood in front of the idol praying just like they were six years ago, the only difference being now they were not just some family friends but two people ready to tie the sacred knot of marriage.

Though they were bound to be married soon but marriage as they say marriage not only ties two families but two hearts. The real question in all these scenarios was were their hearts ready to be tied together or not? The answer was never clear. But one thing has always been clear that they were meant to be.

After the pooja ended, Akshita sat near the idol of Devi maa while keeping her head near her feet questioning her fate. Her mind was filled with questions and the sole focus of the questions being the 6’3 muscular grey eyed jerk named Rudransh Singh Thakur who was giving some instructions on the phone looking deliciously handsome while for sure his mind was finding ways to torture the new culprit.

She has known him since her childhood and though she wouldn’t let him know but she had a tini-tiny crush on him when she was thirteen and he was seventeen while he was horse riding. His aura screamed power, mystery and not to be messed with during that time too. His eyes met hers while he was still on the horse and he became her hope,a hope to pursue love, pursue something always so forbidden in families like hers. She named him her hoffnug. Years passed and her secret crush stayed hidden in a little corner of her heart. The day when he finally looked at her and the whole temple incident later, she was now bound to be his. This was something she desired but yet there were many doubts passing through the gates of her mind and pulling her into the abbys of overthinking.

She closed her eyes and questioned Devi maa was she really ready to be his wife? Is it too early? Does he hate her? Will he become a problem in her pursuing her dreams further? The dreams which belonged to not only her but thousands of souls who were connected with her. The dream to bring a change,to bring them to a stage where they will be treated as equals.

She felt tears stinging her eyes when a hand held out a handkerchief towards her. Just as she looked up,her eyes met his, the grey orbs so mysterious yet alluring. Within them brewing thousands of mysteries and secrets which were yet to be revealed As her hand reached up to hold the handkerchief, he sat down on his knees matching her level and held up her chin. Wiping her tears with the handkerchief,he asked her what was the matter but instead of answering him, she stood up and went to the car as she saw the time, she needed to reach the NGO soon.

When she was about to sit in the car with her father, her mother told her that they needed to visit their relatives house due to a sudden emergency and she was asked to go with Rudransh. As both of them sat in the car,the atmosphere of the car got very tensed, the air felt thick and none of them was uttering a word. To evade the awkward silence, Akshita decided to play a song only for it to be ‘Ang laga de’.

She looked up at him who was already looking at her. As she moved forward to change the song, he too decided to do the same and both of them had their fingers on the same button. Akshita tried to move her hand back when he pressed it more intertwining his fingers with her. She looked up at him and her head skipped a beat when she felt him shifting closer to her face. His nose touched hers and both of them were breathing heavily trying to be comfortable with the new sensation.

A little distance to be covered and then their lips would meet. Rudransh lifted his hand and slowly his thumb found his way to her lower lip as he glided it over her lower lip and smudging the lipstick she had on her lips wiping it off unraveling the mole it hid. The mole which made her look so gorgeous and made him feel that he may get mad if he doesn’t get to see that mole, touch it and feel it.

He held her chin and slowly pressed his lips on her forehead and then slowly his lips glided down to her nose which used to get red every time she got angry making her look like a cute little parrot. All this while

Just as his lips were about to touch hers and he looked into her eyes and whispered, ‘May I?’ and just when she nodded, her phone started ringing, breaking the divine moment. He grunted and ran his hand through his hair in irritation.

He closed his eyes and looked back at her who had a dreaded expression on her face while she heard the call, the information getting more shocking each passing second.

Akshita cut the call and told him to go the orphanage fast and make it fast.He ignited the car engine and the wheels started rolling at a high speed making their voyage to the orphanage.Soon, the wheels came to a halt in front of the orphanage’s door.

The sight in front of her was something she dreaded, there stood a bulldozer stood their while it’s shovel crumbled the top of the building. She quickly ran to the building but her hope to protect it was long gone as the building smashed into pieces right in front of her.

This was her first orphanage, the first thing she did by her own self, the first effort she did for her project change, her dream.Seeing it crumble into pieces made her feel as if her heart was slashed by thousands of daggers at the same time.

She felt anger surging through her nerves and walked towards the person who stood next to the bulldozer. Just as she pulled his arm in anger, he was none other than the person whom she hated to see the most near her work.

It was Reyansh Raisinghania, the son of the opposition party’s head. They have known each other since school and Reyansh had always hated her ways and her dream to bring this damn change. Why can’t she be like him and enjoy by getting money through tormenting poor people. Moreover she needs to cross paths with him and destroy all his plans. His father wanted to make a farmhouse but before he could get the land, Akshita Chauhan started the work of her orphanage here two years later and that hurted his ego.

How could she, a damn woman, try to get something he was supposed to have? How could she? Who gave her the right to stand against him and have her views about things? What made her think she deserves to be an equal individual in front of him,the future politician?
(A/N-Apparently Article-14 of Indian constitution,you ignorant educated fool😒🙄)

She is just a woman, in the end, they are just supposed to decorate themselves and sit like a showpiece in the political parties. They aren’t supposed to have opinions and think. That’s something he always thought, believes and will continue to believe in the future.

I Reyansh smirked at her and showed a government notice which had Rudransh’s signature stating the demolition of the orphanage. Akshita held the paper in her hand and her fury filled eyes went straight to him.

But before reacting on the situation, she needs to make sure that the children are shifted to a safe place. After a shifting of almost 3 hours, everything was sorted for the kids but the problem of land needed a long way to go.

Three hours passed but still Rudransh stood there in front of the car looking at her and making some phone calls. When she was finally done with everything, she went to Rudransh who stood silently with his head bowed down. Just as he was about to lift his face, she pulled him from his collar and threw him onto the backseat in anger.

Pushing him inside and sitting next to him while still gripping his collar, she glared at him.In the very next moment, his hands were wrapped around her waist and she was in his lap while he looked at her and asked,” The news that the future CM candidate destroyed an orphanage just to fulfill his ego to make a farmhouse for himself.Isn’t it a good breaking news?”.

Akshita moved her hands into his hairs and replied,”Ofcourse, it is. Afterall, it was my idea.”

Flashback

Three days ago, Vikram Chauhan, Akshita’s younger cousin was shot while coming back from his football championship. While there was a letter in the car in which he was shot which read.

“Take down,Rudransh’s nomination from the Chief Minister post if you don’t want the next attack to be on your lovely dream, afterall you are his future wife and he won’t like seeing his plaything in pain. Remember, Akshita, don’t cross paths with me again.I’m not always this generous.Do the work fast, woman if you love your kids.
~Reyansh”

That was when Akshita came up with this plan while the men of the family thought they should solve this matter with killing more people as they always say Khoon ka badla khoon, Jaan ka badla jaan.

But this could have only lead to problems in the next election and she needs Rudransh to be the chief minister if she wants to continue her works with the NGO and other organizations. No matter if she doesn’t like him as a life partner but she respects him as a politician. He and his father are much better than those those big-bellied corrupted jerks.

Rudransh went along with her plan and signed the papers while he too found that one traitor in his team. Now only he knew, how torturous the punishment afterall, the rat jar is waiting for him.

Flashback over

After dropping Akshita off to her house, Rudransh went to his special cell, a cell filled with guns, daggers, swords, fireplaces, axes and many other torturing devices He sat in front of the traitor who was a new joinee who had always been on Rudransh’s radar. Now he stood in front of him and he was on his mercy ready for what he deserved, a punishment the one he special privileged one for traitors.

He sat in front of the traitor while he picked up the dagger and casually cut of the fingers from his left hand while he slowly chopped the fingers of his right hand with an axe. His agonizing scream begging for mercy were providing him a great amount of satisfaction but still this was just the trailer, the entire picture is still left.

He poured a bottle of acid on his chest which burned up his shirt and his chest opened while his rib cage was clearly visible. Now, it was showtime as he picked up the new pice, the rat jar and poured hot glue on his face and opened the rat jar and glued it to his face and blow torched the other side of the jar.

The rats ate their way through his face to the other side and this was what satisfied him. You don’t betray someone like him who doesn’t punishes, he makes you feel living hell.He may be the brightest star but a non expressive jerk to her and his family but to his enemies he is worse than Satan.
